This year was about connection. Deep conversations. Multiplayer games. Obsessing over sim families. Streaming games for each other. I didn't read as much as I usually like to. I didn't write as much as I'd hoped. And I had far too many appointments. It was a busy year, in both wonderful and exhausting ways.

I don't know what the next year will bring. I said at the beginning of this year that I want to stop predicting. And I'm doubling down on that now. No goals, specific or vague. No set word of the year. No reading TBR or number goal. As much fun as those things can be, I only crave freedom right now. I want what's meant for me to find me at the right time. And I will, of course, note whatever those things are here.

This year, I played a lot of games. I read too few books. I wrote a lot of poetry. I cried. 😅 It was definitely a year of processing emotions. And some of these categories needed some processing, too
