I got sick this month! 😅 I'll spare you the gross details. But it was the worst stomach bug I'd had in a very long time, and it takes a while for me to recover from stuff.

While I was sick, my Mom and I switched from Scrubs to Degrassi, to avoid seeing medical stuff. When we got to Season 8 and onwards, the nostalgia really hit me. Little Clare and KC were how I got into the show. And The Boiling Point was THE Degrassi experience for me. I wrote fanfiction for it back in the day, okay? Clare was always such a relatable character for me. And I also love Adam and Eli. (Misfits forever!)

On my own, I've been watching more Switched at Birth, which I'm not loving quite as much as I did in the beginning, but the Season 3 death hit me SO HARD with very little sleep and almost zero food in my system. I sobbed.

I wanted to be able to say I finally finished Clair Obscur this month, given that I've nearly been playing it for a year, but the queasiness from the stomach bug was not compatible with much gaming. Just a bit of Tomodachi Life and Balatro. Still, I'm at the side quest part of the game. That's progress. And these days, that's the most I can hope for in anything.

I've been watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. A favorite anime of mine from when I was a teenager. And I got in so deep this time that I actually decided to read The Catcher in the Rye!

The Myth of "Making It"

Last month was rough. Everyone says I made it through the stress remarkably well, but that doesn't mean it didn't take a lot out of me. And I've had little energy in the last few years to begin with.

Well. Let me tell you. If I didn't have most of this already written halfway through this month, there would not be a monthly favorites. Mostly, I'm thankful for my Mom. My piggies. And my close frien
