Another month passes, and we're close to the end of the year. Why does it seem like every year goes by faster and faster? And yet, it feels like so much happened this month. A ton of Sims, a lot of fun gaming with besties, and even some writing! Here are my other November favorites.

Nintendo Online: Mario Party Superstars was my first Mario Party, and I'd only seen a bit of previous games from videos. Mario Party 1 & 2 came out for Nintendo Online recently, and I've been playing them with my friend Vivi. Mario Party 2 was surprisingly easy to get used to, even without any nostalgia. And even the first game wasn't too harsh of an adjustment. Our Nintendo Online connection has not been the greatest. (Some games seem to be worse with this than others.) But it's still pretty amazing to be able to play old games online with friends. I didn't have siblings or many friends growing up, so this is my first time playing games from this era with multiplayer!

Commercials: For the past few months, I've been watching a lot of old Nickelodeon and Disney Channel commercials on YouTube. I've always been a big nostalgia addict, and being able to watch these old bumpers and commercials from a variety of eras has been amazing!

Defunctland: And from that fascination with old commercials and bumpers, came a YouTube recommendation of a documentary about the Disney Channel theme song. And it was so good! Seriously, this video turned from a interesting quest to find the composer of an iconic four note theme to a moving discussion of what gives art its worth and what artists are remembered for. And I honestly got teary. 🥲

Midnights: I feel like I have to mention this every time a new Taylor album comes out, but I like to savor new releases from my favorite artists. I still haven't listened to every song, a month later. But I'm loving the experience.
