This month gave me a lot of stress. But in the midst of it, I got to be with my bestie cousin for a few days. And we packed those days full of fun times with Sims, watching The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Make It Minis. Now I'm ready for cooler temperatures and a hopefully calmer October. But here are some other things I really enjoyed this month.

Summer I Turned Pretty: My bestie cousin and I binged most of this final season together while she was visiting. And it was sooo good. The yearning was intense. And it was really fun to watch it with the person who got me into the books years ago!

Strangetown, Here We Come: My favorite Sims story had an update for the first time in about 8 years. This story has really stuck with me. It's not only my favorite Sims story, but it's a story I'd recommend to any fans of visual storytelling. But certainly, if you have any interest in premade sims stories, you should read this one. The character interpretations have resonated with me so much, that I often find myself playing my sims in similar ways.

Red Riding Hood (2011): This movie probably got lost in the woods of the early 2010s for most people. But I really enjoyed it, and finally took the chance to revisit it.

Music Favs: How Bad Do U Want Me (Lady Gaga), Briston & We Hug Now (Sydney Rose), Eyes (Ex Makina), The Sun (Joseph), Third Eye (Florence + the Machine), Still Here (Honeymoan).
