I survived another birthday. And actually it was a pretty good one! 🙂 Though it still brought the usual sad introspection in its wake. I wish I could tell you that I was more excited and hopeful for the future, but I am scared. Still, there are good moments and little fun things that get us by. That's what monthly favorites are all about.

Palia: My favorite MMO is back with its biggest update by far, and it's beautiful! Purple glowy plants and mushrooms. Lots of opportunities to float around. I'm so happy to have new things to do in this game for the first time in a while. I've reconnected with my lovely community members. And it's even nice to read a bit of new dialogue from the characters.

Gossip Girl: Current "guilty pleasure" TV show. What can I say? I'm kind of loving Dan and Blair's friendship in this season enough to excuse the parts of the show I'm not enjoying as much. Nice to just relax and watch an episode or two.

King of Queens: My Mom and I have been rewatching this show for the third (fourth?) full time. I read a post about rewatching favorite shows and movies being good for your mental health, and I'll tell you, it's been so nice.

Polymerger: I don't often play mobile games these days, but this simple little game has been helping me to spend less time doom-scrolling. So, I call that a win!

Sims: Yes, Sims 2 continues to be a high point in my life. And where a good deal of my limited creative capacity has been focused.

YouTube Favs: Li Speaks, FlurryMoon, Belladovah, The Jeff Gerstmann Show.

Music Favs: TAYLOR SWIFT NOW OWNS ALL OF HER MUSIC!!! Dirty Churches (Meg Washington), "Slut!" (Taylor's Version), Empty Words (Lunik).
