My bestie cousin visited this month, and we had an amazing week playing Sims and various other games, watching movies, and just enjoying being together. We watched the final Eras Tour concert. Lights out. With a light up bracelet from the actual show. We went shopping and several people were really nice to us, easing my innate anxieties. She introduced me to Overcooked (2). And we played Palia in the same room for the first time.

I've been playing lots of games with my gaming bestie, as well. We're slowly making our way though The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy between other games. My Mom and I have been rewatching Scrubs. Had a fun day with some family at a local park concert. (We hung out near the back, so it wasn't too overwhelming.) Been loving cuddling with my piggies, and I got to meet my Dad's dog during the concert outing.

The post-birthday/summer depression has set in. And the future is so scary. This current heatwave is also quite scary, but I'm lucky compared to many. I am unironically very grateful for air conditioning.

I'm writing more poetry. And getting close to putting together a poetry book. Because why not? Things sometimes take a different turn than expected. (Like this monthly favorites post?)

I don't know where I'm going with this. Or with life in general. I don't have the creative drive and passion that I used to. Chronic anxiety and illness have stolen that away and keep me exhausted on a near daily basis. This is where I'm at.

Music Favs: Car Crash (Anna Nalick), I Knew It I Knew You (Taylor Swift), Honeybee & Drop Dead (Olivia Rodrigo), Never Mine (Sigrid), Wolves (Maggie Rogers), Sour (Echosmith), Don't Call Tonight (Lady Gaga), Un Love Me (Leona Lewis).

I got sick this month! 😅 I'll spare you the gross details. But it was the worst stomach bug I'd had in a very long time, and it takes a while for me to recover from stuff. While I was sick, my Mom an

Digital Nostalgia

I've been watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. A favorite anime of mine from when I was a teenager. And I got in so deep this time that I actually decided to read The Catcher in the Rye!

The Myth of "Making It"

Last month was rough. Everyone says I made it through the stress remarkably well, but that doesn't mean it didn't take a lot out of me. And I've had little energy in the last few years to begin with.
