You will not convince me that the months don't speed up more and more as you get older. Perception is everything when it comes to time. The year is half over, and I've been struggling with health issues for most of it. But here are some favorites that have been getting me through.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse: What a lovely little story this is! It's quite short, with many pictures and few words, but so much emotion. If your heart and soul need soothing, look no further.

Palia (with friends): I've mentioned a few times how much I love the world and characters of Palia. But I had done very little interacting with other players until recently. After leading someone around while doing an ore compass a few times, I got invited to a Discord group. And while group chats typically terrify me, this was a small enough group that I decided to try interacting. And I'm so glad that I did. I've had few (if any) experiences where I really felt part of a group. And I'm very grateful to be a part of this one.

Spider-Man: Homecoming: This is my first Marvel movie after a long break, and it was super fun. Spider-Man has always been my favorite superhero, and this movie did not disappoint.

Wildcard (Warcross): It's always hard for me to know how much to say about a sequel, because I don't want to give too much away. But this book, while maybe not as much my thing as the first, was a pretty fitting conclusion to this duology. And had me excited the whole way through!

Music Favs: To Hell and Back (Jessie Baylin), Tailor Made (Colbie Caillat), Stainache (Emma Louise), Wanted (Holly Brook).
