July 2026 Favorites

Well. Let me tell you. If I didn't have most of this already written halfway through this month, there would not be a monthly favorites. Mostly, I'm thankful for my Mom. My piggies. And my close friends and family. That's all I have to say about this month.

Ghost in the Shell (feat. Dungeon Chill): One of my favorite YouTubers decided to cover the Ghost in the Shell franchise. Stand Alone Complex was one of the shows I watched near the beginning of my falling in love with anime as an artform (aka: the Adult Swim era). I was absolutely fascinated (though occasionally confused) by both seasons of SAC. And while I didn't enjoy the movies as much when I first watched those, I was so excited to get this perfect opportunity to rewatch everything. I actually enjoyed both of the movies more the second time around, and I can't wait to rewatch the series next! Please give Dungeon Chill's video some love because he has had to fight so hard to keep this video alive after ridiculous copyright claims.

Tomodachi Life: I'm still really loving this quirky game. But some of the scenarios are getting repetitive, so I'd love to see an update with some new ones and new buildings and such. I'd even take a paid DLC. Because this has been an almost daily stress reliever for me.

The Rise of the Golden Idol: Gaming Bestie and I played through the first game & DLC. And we really enjoyed this one, as well. It's definitely a unique way of playing detective in a game.
