August 2023 Favorites

This month was pretty heartbreaking. Life is changing in some unexpected ways, and I struggle with change even in the best of situations. In my better moments, I've continued to enjoy Speak Now (Taylor's Version), enthused over the announcement of 1989 (Taylor's Version), listened to Call Us What We Carry, snuggled my piggies, and made some new character sims.

Here are my other favorites...

Simblr: Yep. I've been busy with arguably my favorite game (The Sims 2) again. And I've finally gotten into a routine of queue posting to Tumblr. I'm currently working through a lot of older pictures, mostly of my old legacy. I'm excited to eventually start sharing new things again, too. But even the old pictures come with some new commentary! I've been sharing some info about my Timeline Universe characters, both at my simblr and writeblr.

My Website: And speaking of The Timeline, we're building a website! By we I mean: mostly my gaming bestie who knows more about tech than I do. But I'm really excited to see it come together. I used to have a Geocities site for my fanfiction characters, and the nostalgia is kicking in. Plus, I can finally move my blog off of LiveJournal. 😂 It has served me well for nearly twenty years, but it was time for a change!

Riverdale: Okay, yes. This show is off the rails. Too many weird and ridiculous twists. And sometimes makes no sense at all. But what can I say? At some point I just stopped caring. Season 6 is holding my attention. And few things are right now. With the end of the show around the corner, I'm glad to have stuck out this wild ride.

YouTube Favs: I've recently gotten into Nick Robinson's videos, especially the Can We Rescue a Deleted Pokemon video. I also discovered Captain KRB's videos. And I enjoyed April Black's Why is Bella Goth Missing video and Solar Sands's Weird Titles video.

Music Favs: Easily (Grimes), Cut Your Teeth (Kyla La Grange), I Win (Abra Moore), Those Eyes (New West), Panic Attack (Liza Anne), I Don't Wanna Care (Calah Mikai), Renegades (X Ambassadors).
