Wait. Hold on. You're telling me it's almost the end of April already? Okay... well. I've been busy loving Sims and Hogwarts Legacy, as usual. I went to see the Mario movie (šŸ‘šŸ˜†) with my bestie cousin and finally took the hour ride to visit her apartment and meet her cats (šŸ±ā¤ļøšŸ±). Here are some other favorites from this month!

Once Upon a Broken Heart: I loved this book from the beginning, but the last 100 pages or so were absolutely captivating. This book was a joy to read, with its twists, fascinating characters, and beautiful descriptions. And I'm excited to get into the next one!

Mario Movie: I went to my first movie since lockdown, and I was pretty nervous. But I got to see it with my bestie cousin, and that made all the difference. The movie was fun and visually captivating. As a big fan of Mario games from a young age, the nostalgic references warmed my heart. The actual plot of the movie didn't entirely capture me, but sharing excited glances and laughs was well worth the viewing. Looking forward to a sequel!

12 Minutes: This game was an interesting one. Very strange plot and somewhat clunky in the controls. (Plus, I could not have figured out some of the endings on my own.) But I did enjoy it. Something different than anything I've played before, and it has the time loop thing I just can't get enough of!

YouTube Favs: I've been newly enjoying the NationSquid channel, covering the history of computer OSs and viruses, and he makes it all super interesting! I've also been enjoying Gaming Historian's videos. And Julia Slaughter's videos on the Taylor Swift eras are absolutely fascinating! Can't wait for more.
